Apparently, this company would have manufactured a video camera capable of recording this type of 3D content ideal for the Apple Vision Pro, so we can remember any moment as if it were live, although yes, the price of this one is not cheap.
Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive
Blackmagic says this is the World’s first commercial camera system designed to capture 3D content for the Vision Pro. And, although iPhones or other devices could do the same, the quality with which it records leaves any alternative behind, at least if we want to make professional videos.
A couple of weeks ago, Florentino Pérez was talking about the possibility of broadcasting the matches live from the Santiago Bernabéu to Vision Pro, which would allow anyone who wanted to be able to view the matches in this way. For that, it is clear that a normal iPhone is not useful, and we would have to use this type of cameras, and even better ones, which means that both Blackmagic and other companies are getting to work, trying to get ahead of their competitors.
For now it is not available for purchase, only pre-sale. If we want to get one, we will have to enter this first phase of ordering, which will begin deliveries at the end of the first quarter of 2025that is, around March or April we could have it in our house, although yes, for this we will have to pay $30,000an amount that, at least at a particular level, is not viable, and will focus more on companies that want to dedicate themselves to something related to Vision Pro, for which there are many possible options.
The camera has a system of stereoscopic 3D glasses custom and dual 8K sensors. It can capture 180-degree video with spatial audio and up to 90 frames per second. Content resolution is 8,160 x 7,200 pixels per eye, with 16 levels of dynamic range for accurate color and detail in every frame.
Includes two touch screens 5-inch HDR and an external LCD screen to display color status. Additionally, it offers several connectivity options such as 12G-SDI output, 10G Ethernet, USB-C, XLR audio ports, and an 8-pin Lemo connector for power.
A Blackmagic multimedia module is included. 8TBcapable of storing around two hours of 8K stereoscopic video recorded in Blackmagic RAW format. It also supports Cloud Store for fast file uploads and syncing.
And you, do you think we are facing an important technological change, or will it finally be a type of video that we will not fully accept and will prefer the usual screen? For now it seems that they are going strong, we will see how everything ends. 2025 can be a good year.
