It was with this message on social networks (see below) that Greg Joswiak ignited the little world of Apple. The global marketing manager for the Apple brand simply posted a tweet, mentioning the “exciting” week that awaits us.
If it has not yet given too many details on the exact timetable, nor on the products concerned, it was enough for the best analysts in the world to offer their theories. They all come together more or less, with three new Macs from Apple at their center.
Mac (😉) your calendars! We have an exciting week of announcements ahead, starting on Monday morning. Stay tuned… pic.twitter.com/YnoCYkZq6c

Long-awaited products
They will be the center of attention all week, Apple’s new Macs should be, barring any huge surprises, a MacBook Pro, an iMac and a Mac mini. All three will be equipped with an M4 chip, the only thing these devices have in common besides their release date.
Rumors have already mentioned these products numerous times in recent weeks, and several specialists from the Apple brand were expecting a classic video conference to present them. Instead, Apple reportedly planned to issue press releases, a method deemed simpler and more effective.
MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac mini
Concretely, the MacBook Pro is the device most awaited by the general public. Already updated last year with an M3 chip, it should not be entitled to many changes this year. The arrival of the M4 chip will be a big change. Apple could also add a third Thunderbolt port on the edge of the computer, but this remains to be confirmed.
The iMac should follow a similar transformation. The M4 chip should be highlighted as well as the software features provided by Apple Intelligence on these products (although all Macs with an Apple Silicon chip are compatible).
Finally, the Mac mini could well be the chef’s surprise. If the small desktop computer seemed stuck in its original design, Apple would have (finally) found a way to make it even smaller. The Apple brand has been reducing the size (particularly the thickness) of its products for several months, so why not do it with the Mac mini.
Like its two adventure companions, it should be equipped with an M4 chip and Apple Intelligence. The Cupertino company could take advantage of its release (and that of the iMac) to also update its accessories. The main idea would be to switch them to a USB-C standard, instead of Lightning.
