LReddit user /u/uchks worked to revive this idea and presented a new project called jbredirwhich performs the same role for four popular package managers: Cydia, Install, SileoAnd Zebra.

One of the limitations of jbredir is that it only supports Cydia, Install, SileoAnd Zebra.
