Christmas is approaching and streaming platforms have decided to spoil their subscribers. If you’re looking for new series to binge-watch under your blanket (with a good hot chocolate, of course), you can count on us.
While new series and unreleased films enrich the catalogs of Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+, we have selected the best new releases to discover this month of December. There will be something for everyone!
Squid Game – Season 2 (Netflix)
It is undoubtedly the most anticipated series of this year and it will have kept us marinating for a long time. Netflix didn’t lie: yes, season 2 of Squid Game is indeed arriving before 2025. But the platform cheated a little, offering us this new burst of episodes December 26, 2024. All in all, it’s a very nice Christmas present. After the turbulent (not to mention deadly) events of the first season, Player #456 once again dons his green jogging suit to challenge the creators of these lethal games and seek revenge. It’s a certainty, we can expect hemoglobin galore and aesthetics that are as polished (and contradictory) as ever.
The first season of Squid Game has established itself as a true phenomenon with immeasurable success. As a reminder, the series features people extremely in debt in a children’s games tournament. The goal? Win to stay alive and walk away with the colossal sum of 45.6 billion won.

That Christmas (Netflix)
It’s Christmas and we haven’t forgotten it! What would this selection look like without a Christmas film? After making us vibrate with Love Actually, Love at first sight in Notting Hill or even Bridget Jones’s DiaryRichard Curtis intends to warm our artichoke hearts with That Christmas. It is an animated film which offers us several intersecting stories around love and loneliness, family and friends, and Santa Claus who, like us, can make mistakes. It promises!
That Christmas spell December 4, 2024 on Netflix and promises to enchant the end of year holidays. A little sweetness always feels good.
