Vision Pro users now have access to a new episode of the “Adventure” series entitled “Ice Dive”. The latter immerses viewers in an Arctic underwater adventure with athlete Ant Williams who swims under the ice. A whole program that you can practically live with it.

Presentation of “Ice Dive”

This episode therefore offers an intimate insight into athlete Ant Williams’ quest to push the limits of human endurance, capturing his attempt to swim the longest distance under the ice in a single breath. Apple’s cutting-edge immersive technology transforms this frightening adventure into a vivid, sensory experience, allowing viewers to truly feel the beauty and harshness of the Arctic environment.

In the “Adventure” series, mixed reality headset customers now have access to:

  • Highlining : The first episode of the series, where viewers experienced the thrill of tightrope walking at great heights.
  • Parkour : The second episode, diving into the dynamic world of urban navigation through running, jumping and climbing.
  • Ice Dive : The latest addition, showcasing human endurance in extreme conditions.

An enriched library

Apple continues to expand its Vision Pro content library, with “Ice Dive” joining the Apple TV app:

  • Prehistoric Planet: New episodes exploring the world of dinosaurs in 3D.
  • Boundless: A series that takes users on a journey to some of the most extraordinary places on the planet.
  • Submerged: a very successful short film set in a submarine.

This illustrates Apple’s desire to provide unique and engaging experiences to users of the very expensive Vision Pro, with, probably, one of its great strengths. Beyond immersive videos, the headset ecosystem remains fairly moribund, which does not help sales take off.
