Our colleagues at Andro4all have told us the latest details about the next iPhone competitor, the resurgence of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, a model that at the time surprised by the type of curved screen it had on its sides. The reality is that Samsung is giving breadth to its models launched in January of this year, added to which adds a new delay in terms of launch. Samsung will compete with Apple not only with this new device, but it will also do so in terms of the number of possible Galaxy S25 models being 4.

Samsung has a lot of work ahead as its fans await the release of the new One UI 7, which has also been delayed. The rumor of a new member of the Samsung S25 family has been around for some time, although its launch is almost imminent. A report from FNNews indicates that Samsung will provide more official information on May 13 and that it will go on sale on May 23, with reservations from May 14 to 20. It will not reach everyone so quickly since it is estimated that it will first be launched in China and South Korea, and then reach the United States by May 30. It will not be until June that the gradual rollout begins in more countries.
On May 13, in addition to official information, a special Galaxy Unpacked event will likely unveil the new Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. The starting price for the entry-level 256GB version will be €920 at the exchange rate of 1.5 million won, or $1,049 for the US market. The 512GB version will rise to €1,000 at the exchange rate, though it’s likely to reach $1,200.
Samsung, like Apple, has ditched a telephoto lens in favor of a 200MP main camera. Its thickness will be between 5.8mm and 6.4mm. The iPhone 17 Air will be 5.65mm thick at its thinnest part, so it could edge out Samsung in this regard. Several colors and different finishes are expected, although there are no rumors about a possible color scheme.
Samsung typically launches ahead of Apple; its calendar focuses entirely on the beginning of the year, while Apple takes its time to close it out in September.
