Although Meta’s AI is accessible to answer a wide variety of questions, it has certain limitations. At Tech Bit we tell you what they are.
Meta AI, Meta’s artificial intelligence assistant, arrived in Mexico last week. Now, users can use it from applications such as WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger to perform multiple tasks such as:
- Make information queries.
- Generate images and videos.
- Ask for recommendations.
- Answer questions.
Asking questions to artificial intelligence is one of the most common activities that users can do. However, it is important to know that there are questions that Meta’s AI will not be able to answer. At Tech Bit we tell you which are the five questions that you should never ask it.
What are the 5 questions you should never ask Meta AI?
According to Meta AI itself, there are some questions or topics it cannot address, “for ethical, legal, or security reasons,” Meta AI explains.
Additionally, list the five questions that will not be answered.
Personal information
Meta AI has announced that it will never reveal personal information about individuals, especially those that include contact information, location, or financial information.
Harmful content
According to Meta AI, artificial intelligence should not “generate content that promotes hate, violence, harassment or discrimination.”
Illegal activities
One thing you should be careful about is asking Meta AI to give you instructions or advice about illegal activities, such as hacking, fraud, or property damage, as it will never provide you with information about these.
You should also be aware that AI can still make mistakes, so you should carefully monitor all the information it provides you. Especially in sensitive matters such as medical or legal advice, AI reserves its answers and asks you to review your case with qualified professionals.
Predictions or forecasts
Meta’s AI is also prohibited from making predictions or forecasts about future events, especially those involving election results, disease outcomes, or financial gains.
Furthermore, Meta AI reminds users that its role is to help them with “general information, learning and entertainment.”
