AC Tips: With the heatwave in most parts of India, air conditioners have become a bit more essential than ever. While ACs are the best way to beat the heat, they are expensive, and it is costly to not only buy an AC but also to run it as ACs require more power, which increases the electricity bill throughout the season.
SERVICE REGULARLY
The most basic thing is that you get AC service done on time. AC service must be done once in a season before turning on AC, if you use AC more, then get it done once after 3 months, in service, the coils on the AC are cleaned, and the voltage connection and Coolant level is checked.
MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO LEAKS
This is a more frequent problem with window ACs. Sometimes, some space remains between the AC and the window frame, which damages the cooling capacity. Therefore, if there is any leakage in the room, then MCL can be installed there.
SET A TIMER
Many times people keep switching on and off their AC to save electricity. For this, users can set a timer which will automatically turn off the AC in some time.
RUN AT A CUT-OFF TEMPERATURE
Keeping the air conditioner at the cut-off temperature means setting a temperature that will turn off the AC as soon as it enters the room. For example, if the AC is at the cut-off temperature of 24 degrees, the AC will be cut off as soon as the 24-degree temperature is reached. When it detects that the room temperature is rising, it will automatically start the compressor.
CLEAN AIR FILTERS REGULARLY
The air filters in your AC keep dust out of the HVAC system, allowing it to be used smoothly. Although the air filter keeps dust in check all the time, it gets dirty from time to time and it is recommended to clean it. To clean the AC air filter, just wash it with water.
