Streaming is displacing classic television thanks to its greater versatility when it comes to reproducing our favorite content and themes. A good example of this is the multiple services that are coming to our screens offering a great diversity of free channels which can be accessed from different platforms.

A clear example is Pluto TV, but more and more alternatives are emerging such as Distro TV or the one that concerns us now, Rlaxx TVa service that arrived in Spain last summer and that in these months has been expanding functionalities and content.

What is Rlaxx TV

Rlaxx TV is a video on demand service that offers both access to live tv channels like a catalog on-demand content which is growing little by little, but which in principle does not include conventional DTT channels as is the case with other similar services or applications.

Is based on advertising, which means that it is financed by ads that are broadcast from time to time (fortunately they are relatively short) instead of requiring a monthly subscription as is the case with Netflix, HBO and the like. Namely, You do not have to pay anything nor is it necessary to register, give personal data, credit card or the like.

The service basically offers two types of options for viewing content: live tv channels and programs on demand or à la carte, each of which is accessible in its corresponding separate menu that can be selected on the upper part of the interface.

The content is played after a few seconds of loading and after a few minutes of viewing it is paused to play the corresponding advertisement, resuming playback when the commercial ends.

In addition, some content within the open channels of Rlaxx TV allows you to pause, fast-forward, or rewind playbackthis being one of the peculiarities of the service with respect to the competitors.

There is also a configuration section that at the moment is only used to change audio language and little else, without giving the option to vary, for example, the quality of the image or the sound, which are good but not outstanding.

How can I watch Rlaxx TV

The first thing you will need to start enjoying the free Rlaxx TV channels is to access your service, either directly from your website or through an application for specific devices.

The application is currently available for TVs Android TV, Apple TV, Roku TV, Fire TV, Xbox consoles, smart TVs from brands such as Samsung, Panasonic, LG, Blaupunkt, Hisense, Hitachi, JVC, Medion, Metz, Sharp, Telefunken, Toshiba, Grundig, Vestel, iOS/iPadOS, Android phones and as a beta version from web browsers (I have tested it in Firefox and Chrome and it works perfectly).

Once the application is located, you just have to download it and run it on your device without having to register or do anything else.

What channels and content is available

The Rlaxx TV offer is somewhat more limited than other services such as Pluto TV, Distro TV or Tivify, although it has more than 50 thematic channels and select content on demand.
