The Spanish brand Nfortec has just announced the launch of what a priori seems like its new top-of-the-range heatsink, the Sculptor. With a double tower design of aluminum sheets, six 6 mm copper heat pipes and two 120 mm fans, this large heatsink offers performance capable of dissipating up to 220W heatand also as is usual in this brand, at a price that you won’t be able to believe.
When we talk about double tower heatsinks, we cannot help but compare with the famous Noctua NH-D15 (and its previous NH-D14, which was one of the first to adopt this design), a heatsink that, although not the most performing From the market, it was the one that laid the foundations for this type of design and, of course, construction quality in a heatsink. With the Sculptor X, Nfortec presents us with a heatsink with very similar characteristics but that literally costs half of money.
The new Nfortec heatsink is good, pretty and cheap
As we have mentioned before, the new Nfortec Sculptor , Nfortec includes thermal paste so you don’t have to worry about buying it separately if you don’t want to).
Furthermore, as you can see in the following video, the heatsink is available in black and white (and not only the fans, but also the aluminum fins themselves; in addition, as indicated in the video itself, the painting has been done with a anodizing process that will protect the aluminum from abrasion) so you can choose the one that best suits your PC design.
The Sculptor X comes standard with two 120mm A-RGB fans, with a speed between 800 and 1,800 RPM controlled by PWM. These fans are capable of generating a maximum air flow of up to 73.59 CFM, ideal for passing through the two towers of aluminum sheets and evacuating heat efficiently, but they also do so quite quietly because according to the manufacturer specifications, they only emit a maximum of 31 dBA, thanks to their hydraulic bearing system.
This Nfortec heatsink has dimensions of 158 x 125 x 135 mm, so unlike what happens with other heatsinks that use a double tower design such as the Noctua NH-D15 or the DeepCool Assassin, you will not have problems installing it in more normal sized cases (it is common for cases to support heatsinks up to 160 mm high and this one measures 158 mm, so perfect).
Finally, it should be noted that you can use it in all modern AMD and Intel processor sockets, including the latest AMD AM5 and Intel LGA1700. As we mentioned before, it also comes with thermal paste included, and is now available on the manufacturer’s website at a price that, honestly, is what surprised us the most: €54.95.
