The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom has revealed itself in a brand new trailer. This gives us a little more detail about the story as well as the new environments. Nintendo has also confirmed the price of its game: it will be sold for 70 euros, which is more than the classic Switch games.
Last night on February 8, Nintendo held an online conference where it showcased its upcoming games. Among them, The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. A long-awaited title, the sequel to Breath of the Wild (2017) showed up in an epic trailer!
In this trailer, we can see Hyrule under the yoke of a new threat. The kingdom is once again on the brink of destruction and it’s up to Link to save it. We note that if this sequel takes up the map of the first part, the latter is profoundly modified by events, with in particular the appearance of flying islands. Link will be able to get there using new vehicles. We look forward !
Nintendo increases the price of its games and starts with Tears of the Kingdom
Nintendo has confirmed the release date of the game, it is still scheduled for May 12. Pre-orders are also open, but a bad surprise awaits players: the software is sold at 70 euros or 65 euros at French retailers. That’s more than classic Switch games.
An increase that has been at the center of rumors in recent days and which is now confirmed. It is justified by ever-increasing development costs which push the manufacturer to review its prices, even without changing the generation. Yeah.

A collector’s edition was presented, of course. Pricing has not been announced but renowned journalist Geoff Keighley claims that it will be displayed at 129 dollars. If the price is consistent for such an edition, its content leaves fans skeptical: a series of pins, a steelbook, a poster and an artbook. In short, not enough to deserve such a high investment when the other collector’s editions on the market offer much more.
In addition to the standard version, a collector’s edition of The Legend of #Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will launch on 5/12.

In all cases, fans will be there on D-Day and Nintendo knows it. Communication around the game is slowly getting underway to make Tears of the Kingdom the new flagship of the Switch.
