The shelf of unkillable smartphones has arrived. The AGM Glory G1S with maximum protection for consumer devices (certified to US military standard MIL-STD-810H and protected from water and dust according to IP69K) is offered for $699.
AGM Glory G1S is based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 single-chip system with a 5G modem. The IPS display with a diagonal of 6.53 inches is characterized by a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The front camera of the model is with a 16-megapixel sensor, on the back panel there are four modules. One is a thermal imager with a resolution of 256 x 192 pixels and a frame rate of 25 Hz. The second is a night vision camera with a 20-megapixel sensor and one IR LED. There is also a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 48-megapixel main sensor. The only memory option is 8/128 GB.
With “defenses” everything is traditional. Promised IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H. Those. there is full water protection and apparently some shock resistance. As usual, no special details about the tests passed are given. Only the admissibility of full immersion in water is mentioned. Plus, they promise that the smartphone is not afraid of falling from a height of one and a half meters.
The chipset is well known to everyone. Qualcomm Snapdragon 480. Formally refers to the junior line of chips from Qualcomm. In fact, in AnTuTu we are waiting for around three hundred thousand points. Not so little, it will pull on the middle class.
Memory is good. 8 GB operational, 128 GB permanent. There is support for memory cards, but the tray is hybrid.
The battery is standard, 5500 mAh (against 6200 mAh for Glory Pro). Charging is moderately fast – 18 watts.
The screen is rather big, 6.53 “(105 cm²). The resolution is high, 1080×2340 (395 ppi). The refresh rate is standard 60 Hz.
The AGM Glory G1S configuration also includes a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack, a programmable key on the side of the case, an NFC adapter, a 2-watt speaker, and a laser pointer.
