Little by little, most technology enthusiasts, and those who are not so much, are seeing how Artificial Intelligence is being introduced into our lives. There are several technology companies that are betting on this, and as it could not be otherwise, Google is one of the most representative.
In fact, it has one of the most interesting and important alternatives of this type and it is beginning to dealing with ChatGPTwe are referring to Gemini. This is a model that, as it belongs to the search giant, over time is being introduced into a multitude of applications and services that the company owns. As it could not be otherwise, Google wants this language model to improve the user experience of a good part of its platforms, as is now the case with Gmail, which almost all of you use.
We are talking about the most popular email service that exists at the moment and that is gradually being introduced AI functions. And some of Gemini’s smart features have now arrived in the company’s email manager for the benefit of its millions of users. While it is true that this arrival already took place initially a few weeks ago, little by little new functions of this type are being introduced.
Specifically, we are referring to new functions that are coming to the mail manager in our Android-based mobile devices. Until now, with this tool we had the possibility of summarizing emails from our inbox, or allowing AI to summarize them or suggest responses. But now it wants to go a step further in this same sense. All of this with the aim of improving our experience using Google Mail.
Gmail on Android gets a long-awaited AI feature
To give you a better idea, this new smart tool was already available in the web version of the mail service. Due to its huge success, Android-based device users will now be able to benefit from all of this. We are talking about a question and answer function to interact in a much more advanced way with the Gemini AI.
Basically, this allows us to interact with Gmail based on questions and answers in a conversational format. This way we will have the opportunity to ask the AI to perform certain tasks available in the side panel mentioned above. At the same time we will be able to find information stored in emails from the inbox to find what we are looking for faster. And it is that getting hold of certain data that interests us at that moment belonging to some emails, is sometimes a rather complex task.
Thus, AI comes to lend us a hand in this sense to interact in a more advanced way with the email manager. To all this we must add the functions that have already existed since last June in Gmail. As we told you before, these allow us to composing and summarizing emails more quickly if we need it.
