The most anticipated Samsung Galaxy
It has been the colleagues of MySmartPrice who have found the Samsung Galaxy S23 on the FCC website. An entity that is in charge of verifying the launch of new products to the market according to a normative regulation. This list shows that the premium range receives the name SM-S911B. While it is true that he does not mention any specifications, but at least announces that his arrival is imminent.
A few weeks ago, some renders showing the design of the Samsung Galaxy S23 came out. According to these images, the mobile will have a triple rear camera setup along with the LED flash. The display frame is flat, but the rear case curves a bit. This could offer greater grip and comfort in the hand.
The display bezels are very thin and this one would employ a 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel and FullHD+ resolution. It is a no-brainer that it will boast a 120 Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, it is quite likely that the Samsung Galaxy S23 has a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultra wide angle and a 10 MP telephoto. The latter would guarantee images with 3x optical zoom. At the front it would have a 32 MP selfie lens.
Rumors indicate that the Samsung Galaxy S23 will hide inside a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor to leave the Exynos chips behind. The base model would have 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. These leaks also indicate that the phone would have a capacity of 3,900mAh battery with 25W fast charging support and 15W wireless. An interesting aspect revealed during the past week is that it will include satellite connectivity like the iPhone 14.
When will it be presented?
At the moment there is no official information about the presentation date of the Samsung Galaxy S23. However, we can use previous years to have an approximate idea of when this event will occur. According to the presentations of past generations, the landing of the new family should happen in february of 2023.
This is the trend of Samsung except with the series Samsung Galaxy S21which came to the market at mid-January. This may be due to the pandemic situation, but this alternative should not be ruled out, given what has been seen, especially since its appearance so early in FCC could mean something.
Regarding the price, we are going to use the same formula as for the date. Both the Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 have a identical launch value of 859 euros, which we do not believe will change with the new generation. Mainly, because the situation in the smartphone market is not entirely positive, so a price increase would not be fully accepted by consumers. What is clear is that the Samsung Galaxy S23 will land with Android 13 and One UI 5 out of the box.
