Ten days after Android Auto 12.6 was distributed to everyone through Google Play, we already have a new version of Android for cars ready: it arrives Android Auto 12.7.
As usual, the new version of Android Auto is being released first as a beta for those lucky enough to be part of the beta program (or update from the APK). We have tested Android Auto 12.7 beta in search of news.
Android Auto 12.7 beta is here
You can now update to Android Auto 12.7, the latest update to the system that adapts mobile applications for use in the car. Officially, Google states that the changes in this version are “Bug fixes and other improvements“, and after testing it, the truth is that this seems to be the case.
We have tested Android Auto 12.7 in search of new features and we have not seen any radical changes. The only thing we have noticed different is that the “Notifications with the Assistant” setting has reappeared in the settings on the mobile, which had disappeared recently. In Android Auto itself, in the car, a notification appeared with the text “More ways to manage notificationss”, which opened the Android Auto options in the car.
It seems to be another update with corrections or changes to new features that are not yet activealthough unfortunately we don’t know what fixes have been applied, as Google hasn’t updated the list of known Android Auto bugs it maintains.
If you want to try Android Auto 12.7 beta on your mobile now, it will be automatically updated on Google Play If you are part of the beta programIf you are not in the beta program, you can download it from APKMirror.
