Android Auto 9.2 is here as an official update, which means that it reaches all users even if they are not registered in the Google Play beta program. A beta program that, by the way, is quite difficult to access.
The update Android Auto 9.2.6312 It is already being distributed through the Google store. This update comes less than a week after version 9.2 was released as a beta and about two weeks after its last stable update.
New version of Android Auto
Android Auto 9.2 has been short-lived as a beta. Google seems to be satisfied with the result as the update is now available to everyone: It will arrive as an update from Google Play in the next hours or days. Or it could be that it has already arrived: so you can check the version of Android Auto that you have installed.

Changes are still pending changes from the server side.

The redesign of the settings with Android Auto with Material You. A redesign that does not finish arriving.
As usual, Google has not detailed the changes: the list of Google Play news has remained the same for years, although this does not mean that it remains the same. Android Auto has a bunch of known bugs and little by little they are being solved or, at least, trying to. It is foreseeable that this update will try to tackle at least some of them.
In the meantime, it’s always a good idea to keep the app up-to-date, both to resolve small issues and to access new features when Google decides to activate them for your account. These are the steps to update:
