As The New York Times reports, the Cupertino-based tech giant recently held an internal event that focused on AI and large language models. Many teams, including those working on the Siri voice assistant, are regularly testing language-generating concepts. Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant have failed to understand different aspects. Apple is reportedly planning to join the AI race with ChatGPT. OpenAI has now unveiled its next-generation AI engine, GPT-4, which powers ChatGPT and accepts image and text input. “We’ve created GPT-4, which is a milestone in our effort to scale OpenAI’s deep learning,” the company said in a blogpost. Last month, Google unveiled Bard, its new AI service to compete against OpenAI’s ChatGPT, which the company has opened up to trusted testers before making it more widely available to the public. According to experts, the technology of chatbots and voice assistants will improve in the future.
