And the fact that not everyone uses something does not mean that those who use it do not need it and it is already part of their daily lives. That is why Tim Cook's company would have rectified and returned to us implement this function deleted.
iOS 17.3 returns this function to us
For many years, although its popularity has been decreasing, the iTunes Store It has been an application that we have all used. However, due to new apps such as Spotify, Netflix, or even the company's own apps such as Apple Music or Apple TV, its popularity has been falling, to the point that few users are loyal to it.
Even so, those who use it daily had a very interesting function, called wish list, where they could add not only music, but also movies and series. Something that mysteriously and without prior notice, Apple would have eliminated.
It is true that with the release of new services, as we said, there are hardly any users who continue using this function, however, those who do, have seen how from one day to the next they have been left without it. And the thing is, we had it until version 17.2, so, despite having removed it, it was very momentary, and we have barely suffered its absence.
In any case, Apple knows how to listen and rectify, and apparently, after complaints and analysis by themselves, they have realized that it is probably not yet time to eliminate it and, therefore, we will have it again in iOS 17.3a version that we will see shortly, could even be today.
It is likely that they are only testing, and it is the Music or Apple TV applications that finally have this section, gradually eliminating iTunes and the users who have been left in it. Which has given us many moments of leisure, but is becoming obsolete.
For your part, have you ever used this function? Did you know that it had been removed? In that case, are you happy with Apple re-implementing it? The truth is that I believe that this is a simple warning, and that we are prepared for new changes. For now they have rectified it, but their idea and objective seems clear, and they want to renew this type of function that has been unused for so many years by the majority of users, since many did not even know it exists or have never even tried it.
In any case, with the subscriptions we have today, how many people do you know who continue to purchase movies or music independently? Don't you think it's much more expensive, even if it's yours forever? Leave us a comment with your opinion about it.
