Since the arrest of the creator of Telegram, a rumor has been spreading about
social media and alarm that the app might end up being removed from the App Store. A pure lie that came out of nowhere.
Telegram soon to be banned in Europe? FALSE
A story that has been gaining momentum for the past 24 hours. Just yesterday, the CEO and founder of the Telegram app, known as Pavel Durov, was arrested as he exited his private plane at Le Bourget airport in Paris.
Since then, false rumors have indicated that the Telegram application could simply be removed from the App Store by Apple or banned from the French App Store by the French authorities. Totally unfounded rumors that circulate on high-speed networks.
Neither Apple nor anyone else competent has officially communicated on this subject. Not to mention the fact that you don’t ban an application with the snap of a finger in the European Union. Even if the authorities had this wish, it would take months or even years from a legal point of view. Especially for a messaging application that has almost a billion monthly active users worldwide.
For those who use Telegram, don’t worry. The application is not about to leave your iPhone. Those who “pirated” Ligue 1 instead of subscribing to DAZN will be delighted, the LFP a little less. Football fans will understand.
Many are waiting for a more accessible offer, while Ligue 1 is losing more and more stars…
