Apple Music and Apple TV are coming to Windows through the Microsoft Store starting next year. The music streaming application is also already available on Xbox and there is also something new on the side of iCloud Photo.
During Microsoft’s Surface Event 2022, we saw several products unveiled, but it was also an opportunity for the company to make some announcements on the software side. After having, unsurprisingly, praised Windows 11 for its interface, its functions and its security, the firm announced two interesting arrivals.
Indeed, we learn that the Apple Music and Apple TV applications will arrive by next year on Windows, via the Microsoft Store. In the meantime, early access versions are planned soon in the virtual store, but no specific date has been indicated.
This is not the only service from Apple that lands in this way. Users can indeed access iCloud Photo directly from the Windows 11 Photos app.
To do this, you just have to download, beforehand, iCloud from the Microsoft Store ” and your iPhone photos will appear automatically “. Windows officials say they want to make it the most open platform and it is with this in mind that Android applications were able to make their arrival.
Apple Music already on Xbox
Finally, also know that if you have to wait a little longer to enjoy it on Windows, you can now already access Apple Music on Xbox. This was confirmed during the Surface Event.
Journalist Tom Warren ofThe Vergehas also shown on Twitter what the interface of the music streaming platform looked like by sharing a short video recording.
