Apple Music wanted join International Women’s Day with an exclusive playlist called “Alpha”. On the list we have hits from such well-known female artists as Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Día Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Aitana, Ana Mena And a long etcetera. In total we have 100 songs to enjoy more than 5 hours of music.
You can now access the Apple Music “Alpha” playlist from any of your devices, or from the web player available anywhere. A list with which Apple wants to “redefine the meaning of girl power.”
We welcome you to Alpha, a space to redefine the meaning of feminine power.
More than in the ability to fight and change history, the power of these artists lies in their own existence, from which truth, authenticity and vulnerability emanate, as well as the thousand faces of representation.
Many of the women in this playlist have achieved historical milestones and dismantled conventions and all of them exude power in their respective genres. But Alpha’s idea goes further. These songs, released in commemoration of International Women’s Day, address all facets of how femininity can feel and be lived. Here you will find love and intimacy, hope and recognition, intensity and honesty. It’s a place to start conversations, support each other, and challenge preconceptions by simply existing. And this power knows no limits.
