Transfer your Apple Music playlists to YouTube Music
The process to switch from Apple Music to YouTube Music is done through Apple’s Data and Privacy page. To run it you must follow these steps:
1. Sign in to your Apple account at Access Apple’s Data & Privacy page.
2. Find the option “Transfer a copy of your data” and select it.
3. Indicates that you want to transfer your playlists to YouTube Music.
4. Review the transfer details and confirm your request.
Once the transfer is complete, Apple will copy your playlists to your YouTube Music account. The time it takes to complete the process will depend on how many playlists you have.
What can and cannot be transferred?
It is important to note that Not all playlists can be transferred. Apple has established the following limitations:
- Only lists created by you: Collaborative playlists you own will transfer, but shared ones will not.
- Music files not transferring: Only the playlist data is transferred, not the songs themselves.
