The Pro Display XDR screen stand is no longer for sale on the Apple site. Given the price of the accessory, it’s probably not because of a shortage of stock.
When it was launched, the price of the Pro Display XDR made many observers jump. Admittedly, the 32-inch Retina 6K screen has one of the most impressive technical data sheets, but at €5,500 in its basic version, it is clearly intended for an audience of professionals or wealthy amateurs. Let’s add that the screen also requires the purchase of a dedicated stand, which costs the trifle of 1099 €. Is the accessory a victim of its own success? No one knows, the fact remains that he is currently no longer available in the store company online.

Apple remains stubbornly silent when it comes to revealing its sales figures, even for its most popular products, such as the iPhone. So when @9To5Mac tells us on Twitter that the firm of Cupertino no longer offers its very expensive stand for the Pro Display XDR on its official website, this inevitably makes your ears prick up. Speculation is rife. Is the product out of stock? Considering its price, it is quite unlikely.
Apple may offer a new Pro Display XDR screen
According to 9TB 5 Mac, Apple is probably about to unveil a new model from ProDisplay XDR. Will it be an even larger screen, with 42 inches diagonally and an OLED panel, as rumor has it? It is currently impossible to comment on this subject. What we do know, however, is that the Apple brand has planned to present new products on September 12, including the highly anticipated iPhone 15.
In addition to Apple smartphones, the keynote should be an opportunity for Tim Cook and his teams to present the new Apple Watch Series 9. The smartwatch should benefit from a new S9 processor, largely inspired by the A15 chip introduced in the iPhone 13. 2023 will be the year of USB-C at Apple. It is rumored that the company will present new AirPods with this type of plug.
