As reported by its sources, the objective of the next generations of Apple products will be based on being the thinnest and the lightest in their categories. The iPhone, Apple Watch and MacBook Pro will be thinner than ever.

However, this redesign in the thickness of Apple devices will not occur until 2025, at least in the case of the iPhone. The arrival of the iPhone 17 will make the iPhone the thinnest smartphone on the market.
But Apple not only plans to reduce the thickness of its iPhone 17. As we previously indicated, it will also do the same with its MacBook Pro and its Apple Watch.
Interestingly, the 2021 MacBook Pro was thicker and heavier than previous generations in a redesign that welcomed Apple Silicon’s M1 chipsas well as the return of the HDMI ports, MagSafe and the SD card slot.
The news corroborates previous rumors that suggested that the Apple Watch X or Apple Watch Series 10 would have a much thinner design. In addition, the screen of the 10th anniversary Apple Watch would be 10% larger with two versions of 1.89 inches and 2.04 inches. Everything indicates that this will be the biggest redesign that the Apple Watch has undergone since its birth in 2014.
We do not know when the new thinner MacBook Pro will be launched. In the case of the iPhone, its design will be “lightened” in 2025. For its part, The Apple Watch will be thinner this same 2024, By the end of September. But Mark Gurman has not specified when the new thinner and lighter design of the MacBook Pro line will be ready.
The last time the bitten apple company renewed its range of MacBook Pro products was in October 2023 with the arrival on the market of the new MacBook Pro models with M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max chips, which measure 1.55 mm thick. Apple is ready for a new design revolution in its catalog.
