During the WWDC 22 keynote, we were also treated to a preview of the future versions iOS 16, iPadOS 16, tvOS 16 and macOS 13 Ventura. This time the Cupertino company is releasing the fifth beta of watchOS 9, good news for developers who have suffered performance issues and reduced battery life.
What’s new for beta 5 of watchOS 9
Without a revolution, watchOS 9 is a good vintage with several nice new features such as much more advanced running tracking, 4 new dials, afib history, sleep stage tracking, and even VOIP calls for third-party apps. VSow to install watchOS 9?
As usual, in order to install the new Apple Watch operating system beta, developers can go on their iPhone to:
- The Watch app
- General
- Software update
They will be able to download and install the new version, if they have installed provisioning profile on their iPhone from the Dev Center from Apple. The others can finally fall back on Apple’s public beta test program.
