Apple provides two applications for video editing, iMovie for users who want to do occasional editing in their spare time and Final Cut Pro for those who want a more professional experience.
Given the high price of Final Cut Pro (€299.99), Apple takes great care with this application, the company regularly updates its famous application by offering various novelties, improvements and optimizations. Starting tonight, Final Cut Pro users can download the 10.6.2 update.
What to expect with the new version of Final Cut Pro?
- Quickly locate media that appears more than once in a project using highlighted clip ranges or the timeline index.
- Improve speech clarity by adjusting the background noise level using machine learning (requires macOS Monterey 12.3 or later).
- Optimized playback and graphics performance for M1 Max and M1 Ultra on the new Mac Studio.
- Import Magic Movie and Storyboard projects created with iMovie for iOS version 3.0 into the timeline.
- Adds Korean language support.
Note that activating voice isolation may be slightly difficult to find the first time, you will need to set highlight a clip in the timeline and check the option Voice isolation in the sound section.
