Apple will guide students in creating, training, and deploying machine learning models on the company’s devices!
Apple today announced that it will integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into the curriculum of its developer academies, known worldwide as Apple Developer Academy, training thousands of students and mentors around the world. This initiative seeks to equip future developers with the tools and skills necessary to create innovative optimized experiences, such as those presented in Apple Intelligence, recently at WWDC 2024.
The new core curriculum will benefit Apple Developer Academy students and alumni in Brazil, Indonesia, Italy, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and the United States starting this fall. The goal is to prepare students to contribute to their local communities and businesses, generating a positive impact in the world.
Apple will train more professionals with AI tools
With these new powers, Apple will guide students to create, train and deploy machine learning models on the company’s devices. The insights cover AI technologies and frameworks, such as Core ML, and will provide guidance for building and training models from scratch. Students will also have access to Xcode 16, Swift 6, and other tools and APIs recently announced at WWDC 2024.
Students will learn through a guided curriculum and project-based assignments that They include the assistance of hundreds of mentors and more than 12,000 academy alumni around the world.
Incorporating AI into the curriculum adds to the core competencies in coding, professional skills, design and marketing currently offered in the 18 Apple Developer Academy in six countries.
