The next Xbox would end physical support. If it no longer has the same presence as before, many of its players remain attached to it. And you ? Tell us in our poll of the week.
This week, some executives working at Xbox must have had a bad week. A huge leak, undoubtedly one of the most stratospheric to ever hit the world of video games, has revealed Microsoft’s plans for a first refresh of its Xbox Series X.
Its particularity, beyond a new cylinder design, the transition to Wi-Fi 6E and 2 TB of storage would be based on the disappearance of the Blu-ray player and therefore, ultimately, the disappearance of physical media on Xbox.
Are you ready for the end of physical media?
This question often comes up in public debate, but even in the latest generation of consoles, all manufacturers, Xbox, Sony and Nintendo, continue to offer games in physical media. However, the arrival of a refresh without a hole dedicated to a cake opens the way to its end.
What do you think ? And above all, where are you in your relationship to purchasing physical games? Are you still attached to it or not? This is the subject of our survey of the week.
How many physical games do you buy per year?
