It may well be positioned in the mid-range segment, but the Realme GT 2 impresses with features that flirt with the top of the range, whether with its screen or its gaming performance. This smartphone has an appreciable quality-price ratio which becomes even more so with this promotion on Cdiscount increasing its starting price from 599.99 euros to 319 euros.
Although it is most talked about for its entry-level smartphones, Realme demonstrates that it can also be a fierce competitor in the mid- and high-end segments with its GT range. Even when they go up in quality and performance, these smartphones still follow the policy of optimal value for money and the Realme GT 2 is a good example of this. At the moment, the 256 GB version is showing a nice reduction of 280 euros on Cdiscount.

Where to buy The
Realme GT 2 at the best price?
Beneath its sober looks, its striking resemblance to the GT 2 Pro and its layer of textured plastic, the Realme GT 2 has some good arguments to make, starting with its screen. Here we have a 6.62-inch AMOLED panel providing the best possible contrast ratio and ultra-deep blacks. The definition is Full HD (2400 x 1080 pixels) and the refresh rate is 120 Hz to ensure smooth browsing. The only concern we can find with it is that the white balance is a little too blue, but for a smartphone at 319 euros, we can ignore it.
The photo module houses three sensors: a main wide-angle sensor of 50 Mpx (f / 1.8), an ultra wide-angle of 8 Mpx (f / 2.2) and a macro sensor of 1.92 Mpx (f / /2.4). The set is classic and delivers shots of decent quality, except for the colorimetry which goes a bit into a spin and an overpowered HDR mode. As for the 16 Mpx front sensor (f / 2.5), it faces the same problems with HDR which will considerably reduce the contrast in the photos.
Efficient in gaming thanks to the know-how of Qualcomm
The Realme GT 2 runs with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 which then equipped the high-end smartphones of the 2021 vintage. This eight-core processor clocked up to 2.84 GHz was then hailed for its excellent performance and it is found here accompanied by 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. The Realme GT 2 is solid and does not suffer from any slowdown in navigation and multitasking, it even does very well in gaming and is able to run heavy games smoothly.
As for the battery, the Realme GT 2 has two accumulators of 2500 mAh each which allow it to last a whole day, and even two in moderate use. But the best part is its 65 W fast charge, Realme provides a charger unit capable of recharging the smartphone from 10 to 100% in just 31 minutes according to our test measurements. However, it is not compatible with Qi wireless charging.
