A choice of design that ensures good comfort
In designing its wireless headphones, Xiaomi often tends to take inspiration from the Apple brand. However, this is not the case here with its Redmi Buds 3 Pro. These headphones leave aside the rod format and offer a real in-ear format with silicone tips that nestle in the ear canal. A design that allows for better passive isolation and optimized sound quality.
They fit quite well in the ears and can be used without fear during your sports sessions. They are also IPX4 certified and splash resistant.
Great features for the price
The Redmi Buds 3 Pro also offer active noise reduction technology. They are equipped with a three-level noise reduction system that will automatically adapt to ambient noise. During our test, we noticed that the headphones have difficulty adapting to the surrounding sounds. And without an app, it is impossible to change modes. However, the noise reduction is rather effective when pushed in “deep suppression” mode, that is to say with high and constant noise. A transparency mode is also included, which is effective.
On the audio side, we find the SBC and AAC codecs which will do the trick to listen to your favorite playlists on your streaming platform. The sound quality isn’t amazing unless you like crisp highs. Above all, they have the advantage of being multipoint Bluetooth compatible in order to be able to connect simultaneously to several source devices. Finally, on the autonomy side, the brand announces up to 6 hours of listening without active noise reduction and an additional 22 hours with the charging box. For charging, it only takes 40 minutes for the headphones to recover 100% autonomy. The case is also compatible with wireless charging by induction – which is quite rare for this price range.
