Canal+ launches a new offer with a dubious name, but at an unbeatable price

Canal+ is kicking off the world of VOD services with a new offer dedicated to people under 26. The latter contains the Canal+ channels, but also a subscription to Disney+, Netflix, OCS and Paramount+, all for 19.49 euros per month.

Very often the first to make people laugh just as much as to offer limited-time subscriptions at very good prices, Canal+ is once again coming back to the charge at the beginning of March with a new offer called “Rat+”. We will come back to the marketing discourse, but we must all the same admit that this new subscription has enough to justify its name: a subscription bringing together Disney+, Netflix, OCS and Paramount+ and the Canal+ channels, all for less than 20 euros per month and without commitment, difficult to do better on the SVOD side. Only thing to know: this offer is valid only for people under 26.

What does this Canal+ limited series offer?

  • The entire Canal+ offer with its thematic channels and services
  • An all-in-one subscription: Disney+, Netflix (standard), OCS and Paramount+
  • Accessible everywhere: TV, mobile, tablets and computers

This subscription called Rat+ is offered at 19.49 euros per month, without the price increasing after one year and without any commitment. She is however available exclusively for under 26s with supporting documents to be provided during registration.

Note that if you already have a subscription for one or more of these platforms, you can switch them to this subscription at no additional cost.

TV, series, cinema accessible everywhere with Mycanal

This Canal+ offer provides access to channels as well as VOD from any device: connected TV, internet box, mobile, tablet, etc. The MyCanal application available on Android and iOS platforms is very easy to use and allows you to switch between live TV and streaming catalogs.

If you only have one computer, you can simply identify yourself from the Canal+ site. For the most tech-savvy, there is also the possibility of streaming content to another screen and sharing it with those around you thanks to Chromecast and Airplay compatibility.

An unbeatable SVOD offer

In addition to the Canal channels, this offer also gives access to a Disney+ subscription. The platform brings together six universes with spaces dedicated to Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic films and series. All without counting on more than 10,000 hours of programs (films, series, shows, documentaries, short films, etc.) from Fox catalogs. This is also the case for Netflix which comes with a standard subscription (HD + 2 simultaneous users). The catalog of the VOD giant is still unequaled in exclusive content, whether for films, but especially for series. We also have the right to OCS which, despite the loss of HBO content, remains largely interesting and finally Paramount + completes the whole thing with its original series, its blockbusters, its animated series and programs for children.

All these apps are available in stand-alone and you will need to create an account for each of them if you haven’t already. If you already have one; you can use your identifiers so that the account is added to the Canal+ subscription.

To find out even more about the different streaming platforms available in France, we invite you now to consult our guide to the best SVOD services in 2023.
