Google, the technology giant, announced in February 2023 its entry into the world of generative artificial intelligence with Bard, its own model designed to compete with ChatGPT.
The New York Times reported that Bard’s development is still in its early stages, although some of the basic features it will offer are already known, such as help writing programming code, predicting search results and suggestions, presentation of search results with updated information and summaries of articles and web pages.
Although the date for the launch of Bard is not known, it is estimated that in the first stage only around one million people will be able to access it. After a few months of controlled use, this number could rise to 30 million before the end of the year.
Google’s entry into the generative artificial intelligence market shows the boom that this technology is experiencing in recent years and the interest it arouses among technology giants. The launch of Bard is expected to revolutionize the way users interact with the Google search engine and open up new opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence.
