The new tablet merges the concepts of the xiaomi pad 5 and of a Amazon Kindle offering us a large diagonal screen (10.3 inches), a smaller battery than usual for having said screen and other advantages. A tablet with an electronic ink screen for the Note family
Xiaomi has presented its new Xiaomi Note E-Ink in China, a tablet with an intelligent operating system. Specifically, we are talking about Android 11 but the presence of any type of custom layer on the operating system is not reflected. So in the absence of a surprise from Xiaomi in the future, here we don’t have MIUI or anything like that covering Android.
The Xiaomi Note E-Ink arrives with a 10.3-inch diagonal electronic ink screen and an indeterminate resolution. We do know that under the whole frame we have an internal battery of 3,000 mAh with 18W charge, which should allow us to shorten the times next to the plug. And the presence of the screen should offer us a lot of autonomy, since the screen is always the element that consumes the most on mobile phones and tablets.
The processor is not specified but we know that it is a quad-core Cortex A55. Something logical if we take into account the possible use that will be given to this Xiaomi 11 E-Ink. Xiaomi has also revealed the memories because we have 3GB for RAM and 64GB for internal storage. No microSD card to expand, by the way.
In addition to everything mentioned, we have WiFi here in the connectivity section, and also a headphone port so we can listen to music with cable. Nothing is mentioned about a possible Bluetooth connection or options with mobile connectivity. And yes, we have a USB Type-C port for charging and for transferring files to and from the tablet.
Versions and prices of the Xiaomi Note E-Ink
The new Xiaomi Note E-Ink initially lands in China in gray and for now we have no news that it will become an international device. We do know that its only version with 3GB and 64GB is on sale for 2,699 yuan, about 390 euros at the current exchange rate.
