When Square Enix releases a new title, it’s always an event, especially since the mobile versions are very often well done. This time, it’s about Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Princea game released last year on the Nintendo Switch that has won over a certain audience thanks to its charm and addictive gameplay. An excellent spin-off of the Dragon Quest license that comes to us on iOS, Android and PC.

Indeed, Square Enix announced that Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince will be released on iOS, Android, and Steam on September 11, with all DLC previously released on the Switch version included. This means that the content of the Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince Digital Deluxe Edition will also be part of the trip, for our greatest pleasure.
Here is the story of the new Dragon Quest Monsters:
It is the story of Psaro, a young man struck by a curse, and his faithful friends whom he brings along on his adventure.
After his father, the Monster Master, casts a curse on him preventing him from harming any creature with monster blood, Psaro vows to become a monster leader to break the spell. Throughout his adventure, he will befriend many monsters. He will train them to become stronger, synthesize powerful new allies, and fight increasingly dangerous enemies.
Join Psaro and his friends on this journey full of monsters and battles!
In Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Princeyou must explore the magical kingdom of Nadiria where each circle offers unique adventures influenced by the changing seasons and climates. With over 500 monsters to recruit and combine, there is enough to make a formidable team to accompany you in an RPG that is always as gripping.
This smartphone version includes all the DLC from the console version, further enriching the gaming experience. Also take part in the Express Joust mode to challenge other players in automatic battles. Our opinion on DQM The Dark Prince
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince (DQM3) is a very enjoyable game with very well-crafted monster collection mechanics that can keep you entertained for over 75 hours. The monster designs, synthesis system, and voice acting are clearly the game’s strong points. However, it suffers from performance issues, questionable DLC decisions, and frustrating post-game mechanics. The environment design is generally good, but handling issues sometimes hamper exploration. Despite its flaws, DQM3 remains a solid experience for fans of the genre, as most Dragon Quests are.
However, the network mode for online battles, where players can compete in real time like on the Switch version, will not be available on the Steam and mobile versions.
