Twitter needs every penny it can generate in revenue, so its CEO must already be thinking about how to get around those commissions in the same way that they already do at Epic Games or Spotify. And not only that: Musk has gone so far as to say that an extreme decision that he can take is to launch your own phone to compete against the iPhone.
When we thought we were all there, the “elonPhone” can arrive
I certainly hope it does not come to that, but, yes, if there is no other choice, I will make an alternative phone

Musk has posted a tweet commenting on it in the wake of a reflection From Liz Wheeler, host of The Liz Wheeler Show podcast:
If Apple and Google kick Twitter out of their app stores, Elon Musk should produce his own smartphone. Half the country would happily get rid of their iPhones and Androids. This man makes rockets to go to Mars, so a smartphone should be easy, right?
Given this, Musk affirms that “he really hopes that we don’t get to that” but that if there is no other option “it will make an alternative phone”. We can classify it as one of his ramblings, but we are talking about the man who, as a result of getting bored one afternoon, ended up building a tunnel under Las Vegas to try to end the traffic jams. Without much success, I might add.
It is assumed that an “elonPhone” would have some way to sell applications that save developer fees, something that would put pressure on Apple and Google. Craziness? Can. Impossible? Leaving aside that he can do it well or badly, with Elon we have already learned that he can’t.
