Xiaomi’s new ultra-cheap
The Xiaomi Redmi 13C is destined to be one of Xiaomi’s cheapest phones for this year and possibly part of the next. Officially enters the entry rangealthough it should be more than enough for those who do not ask too much of their mobile.
This is now even clearer now that the terminal, which once again relies on the MediaTek Helio G85 for the processor, is launched with versions with 4, 6 or 8 GB of RAM, compared to 3 or 4 for the Xiaomi Redmi 12C. The storage also reaches 256 GB, a figure that is not bad at all for its price.
The Xiaomi Redmi 13C arrives with a completely renewed design that changes curves for right angles, with a 6.74-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution and up to 90 Hz refresh rate. The front camera, which is 8 megapixels, is located in a drop-shaped notch.
Behind, the Xiaomi Redmi 13C integrates the lenses in two large circles. The main camera is 50 megapixels and it is accompanied by a 2 megapixel macro lens. Apparently there is a third lens of which Xiaomi does not indicate its function or parameters, so unless it is an error, it will most likely be used for portrait mode.
As for the battery, the Xiaomi Redmi 13C is well stocked, with 5,000 mAh capacity and support for 18W fast charging. The terminal does not forget the fingerprint reader, which is on the side, and is put on sale with MIUI 14 based on Android 13instead of with HyperOS.
Versions and prices of the Xiaomi Redmi 13C
The Xiaomi Redmi 13C is official on Xiaomi’s global page and is also listed in certain countries such as Nigeria or Vietnam. Taking into account that the Xiaomi Redmi 12C is sold in Spain, it is possible that this new version will also arrive, although for now we have not confirmed it. The phone is available in four colors and various combinations of RAM and storage, of which we know the price of the following:
- Xiaomi Redmi 13C 4+128 GB: 98,100 Nigerian naira, 114 euros at the exchange rate.
- Xiaomi Redmi 13C 8+256 GB: 108,100, 126 euros at the exchange rate.
