If you are one of those who have migrated to YouTube Music from other platforms, now is the time to know What have been your trends and the global ones?. And it is that the platform also accounts for what has sounded the most among all its subscribers.
Your favourites, curious facts and the music that is sweeping the rest of the users
As soon as you open the YouTube Music application, access to your Recap 2022 should appear. If not, just click Click on your photo (top left) and then on “Your Recap”. In this section you can find global trends, but above all your own and including a playlist with your most listened to songs throughout 2022.
Also included is that popular ‘Stories’ format in which to know various data. From how many minutes of music you’ve listened to this year, to the artist, song, and music genre that’s featured the most on your YouTube Music player.
Here’s how YouTube breaks up its roundup:
- Main trends: On the summary page of the YouTube Music app, you’ll see which artist you discovered before most other users.
- Identity: Also on the overview page of the YouTube Music app, you’ll receive a “Music Personality” that captures your musical vibe, based on your listening habits.
- Hard to find content: YouTube is home to a catalog of music content that you can’t find anywhere else. To celebrate we’re sharing the unique YouTube content (remixes and live performances) you liked the most this year, available on both the YouTube app and YouTube Music.
And as we already told you, at the bottom of the same tab there are also the greatest hits of 2022. From the category in which all genres are included, to the most listened to in each of them. And if you are a subscriber, we believe that you will be excited to check it out for yourself, but as a small preview we tell you that there is a Korean group with a lot to say.
