Finding a WhatsApp conversation will be much simpler

WhatsApp is trying a new feature to filter conversations on the main screen. Practical for easily finding the one you are looking for.

is one of the most used applications in the world and it evolves regularly with new features. However, it still has enormous room to maneuver to be as complete as some of the competing messaging services like WeChat or Telegram, to name a few.

Moving in the right direction, the Meta application is constantly progressing and the site WABetaInfo has become an expert in discovering new things. Today, it is in version 2.23.14.17 beta on Android that the specialized site encountered a rather appreciable change for people multiplying conversations.

An application without filter?

Some people registered for the beta were able to observe a small new feature that makes a difference: filters allowing them to easily classify their numerous discussions. In the screenshot shared by WABetaInfowe can see three filters at the moment: “ All » (“ All ), “ Unread » (“ unread “) And ” Groups » (“ groups “).

WABetaInfo argues that “ this feature represents a significant improvement in user experience », which also corresponds to Frandroid’s opinion. Conversations can quickly accumulate in WhatsApp and finding the one you are looking for at a given moment sometimes requires scrolling through several screens. One might think that the filter “ unread » is not really important since conversations containing new messages already automatically move to the top of the list, but for those who do not respond immediately to all their new messages, this makes it easy to find conversations with new things .

As usual, this feature is not yet available to everyone. Only certain people registered in the beta program can benefit from it at the moment. Although we have an even more recent version of the application, we do not yet have access to it at Frandroid. So you still have to be a little patient.
