Mobile News Desk – Google announced its new mid-range phone Google Pixel 7a at Google I/O earlier this year. The company is now preparing for the launch of Google Pixel 8 series which is scheduled to take place on October 4. Ahead of the launch of Google Pixel 8 series, live images of Google Pixel 8a have surfaced on the web. According to the new report, this phone can be introduced with a new design. The design of Google Pixel 8a will be similar to the Pixel 8 series.
Specifications of Google Pixel 8A
Google’s upcoming A-series smartphones will have a centered punch hole notch display. Similar to the Google Pixel 6a and Pixel 7a, the upcoming Pixel 8a will feature a visor-shaped camera module that will house a dual-rear camera setup. The leaked live images of the Pixel 8a also show the left and right edges of the device confirming that the power button and volume rocker will be on the right edge. However, the SIM-card tray will be on the right side. The smartphone will come pre-loaded with Android 14.
Features of Google Pixel 8A
The device packs 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 14 OS. Other specifications of the phone are still under wraps, but we expect it to have at least 128GB of storage. The device may offer better design and camera improvements. Before launching the Pixel 8a, Google is expected to bring the Pixel 8 series. It is expected that Google will introduce it in the market with new color options. The Google Pixel 8a Geekbench listing also confirms that it will be powered by an underclocked version of the Tensor G3 chipset.
