Smart watch users are in luck, Fitbit has just presented the renewal of several of its most iconic devices. We are going to see in detail the characteristics with which these new wearables arrive and, above all, if they represent a leap compared to the previous generation.
The first device we are going to talk about is the Fitbit Sense 2 that comes to replace the Fitbit Sense that was introduced a couple of years ago and that we were able to analyze in detail. Among the novelties of this new device is that it has been made 15% lighter and 10% thinner than the previous generation.
At the level of sensors, those of the previous generation have been improved and as commented by Fitbit, now the stress measurement will be done through the use of a continuous electrodermal activity analysis sensor or also known as cEDA. This sensor will be working continuously to detect stress peaks.
Leaving aside the sensors that will be integrated into this new smart watch, it’s time to move on to its smart features such as compatibility with Alexa or that, finally, Fitbit watches will be compatible with Google applications such as Wallet or Google Maps. The price of the new Fitbit Sense 2 stands at 299.95 euros.
Having seen the features of the Fitbit Sense 2, now I would have to go to the Fitbit Versa 4. This watch is one step below the level of features and benefits of its older brother. This also means that it is somewhat cheaper, although not too much since It is in the range of 229.95 euros.
Fitbit has also indicated that the design of this watch has been improved as it is now lighter and thinner than its previous version. In addition, the touch button on the side is once again present inside this smart watch designed for sports. The shortcomings of this watch compared to the Fitbit Sense 2 are the absence of the cEDA and ECG sensor.
Come on, you won’t be able to track each person’s stress and you won’t be able to do EKGs either.. Leaving this aside, it is a complete watch at a sports level that integrates several exercise modes along with GPS to be able to track the most reliable when practicing outdoor sports.
These two watches have not arrived alone and are accompanied by the new Fitbit Inspire 3 which is a smart bracelet intended for sports. The price of this bracelet is 99.95 euros and what it offers is both general monitoring of various sports and a screen that can be active at all times, along with a battery that lasts up to 10 days.
