Forget the Livebox, this WiFi box is just as powerful and 2x cheaper

If France is one of the cheapest countries in terms of mobile plans and internet boxes, the budget is still high for households. It quickly takes 30 to 50 euros per month for a good internet connection.

However, there are some (rare) times during the year when ISPs display discounts. Typically, the Livebox is currently at 19.99 euros per month (during the first year, then 40.99 euros per month). Bouygues Telecom goes even further since its internet box with fiber plummets below the 10 euro mark.

At 9.99 euros per month, you can’t claim to have better at Orange, SFR or Free. Bouygues Telecom annihilates all the competition with the best offer ever presented so far. The good news is that this fiber formula at 9.99 euros per month will suit 99% of French households. Even if you share your connection between several users, it will be sufficient.

Orange never wanted to go so low for its Livebox. That said, the alternative at Bouygues Telecom is excellent and this tariff will inevitably generate thousands of subscriptions. The internet box called Bbox Fit at 9.99 euros per month includes fiber with a speed of 400 Mb / s (up and download) as well as unlimited calls to landlines. If you want TV, you will have to add a small supplement.

Good news, if you are absolutely looking for triple-play, Bouygues Telecom has released a similar flash sale on the Bbox Must. This is 15.99 euros per month and includes fiber (up to 1 Gb / s download), unlimited calls to landlines and mobiles in France and 180 TV channels with a decoder. If you have a triple-play offer today, this is the best solution. Again, no competitor competes on price.

Bouygues Telecom is unbeatable

In general, Bouygues Telecom, SFR and Orange like to follow each other’s discounts. That said, Bouygues Telecom is going extremely low this time and neither of its two direct rivals can match. At less than 10 euros per month, Bouygues Telecom quality fiber is a bargain. You still have to check that you are indeed eligible for its network. To do this, you just have to enter the address of your home on the ISP’s website.

Whether it’s the Bbox Fit at 9.99 euros or the Bbox Must at 15.99 euros, both offers are worth the detour. If you have a standard use (including streaming on Netflix for example), the one at 9.99 euros per month will do the trick. If you have very specific needs (such as downloading very large files, if you are an editor), it will be better to switch to the Bbox Must.

In both cases, Bouygues Telecom supports you during the transition: it not only helps you cancel your current subscription, but it also compensates you for up to 100 euros of your cancellation costs. In general, these oscillate between 0 and 60 euros at ISPs: by choosing Bouygues Telecom, you therefore have the assurance of paying nothing during your migration.

Contrary to what one might think, changing the internet box is not that complicated. It will only take you a few minutes and it can change everything: having a fast, stable internet connection at an unbeatable price is worth it. Might as well take advantage of it in the middle of August, before restarting the start of the school year. It is unlikely that this discounted internet box will remain available until the start of the school year. Bouygues Telecom released it specifically for the weekend of August 15.

The Bbox Fit and Bbox Must are in first and second position in our comparison of the best internet boxes. At these prices, you can’t imagine better. The savings amount to several hundred euros in the first year. Note that Bouygues Telecom will still ask you to subscribe for at least 12 months (commitment) to these fiber offers to recover its costs.

With ISPs, there is always one constant: prices go up after a year. Unfortunately, Bouygues Telecom is no exception. The good news in this story is that its two internet boxes will still be cheaper than the competitors. It will take 30.99 and 40.99 euros per month for the Bbox Fit and Must after one year. This is still almost half as many competitors.

In recent years, fiber boxes for less than 10 euros have become very rare. It’s an opportunity that we weren’t expecting and that we haven’t seen yet in 2022. If you want to save money on your internet box (while having the guarantee of Bouygues Telecom quality), it’s a very good choice. The ISP is also known for having excellent customer service, both in physical stores and over the phone. You will always find a solution to your possible questions.
