Cyber security researcher identified fake apps related to China. This app BadBazaar is equipped with spyware and was spying on smartphone users. The fake apps included popular apps like Telegram and Signal. Cybersecurity company ESET revealed that these malicious apps are linked to a China-related APT group known as GREF.
