Demanding global cooperation to deal with cyber crime in an interview, PM Modi said that the ever-increasing cyber crimes can create social and geopolitical tension. Cyber ​​security researcher identified fake apps related to China. This app BadBazaar is equipped with spyware and was spying on smartphone users. The fake apps included popular apps like Telegram and Signal. Cybersecurity company ESET revealed that these malicious apps are linked to a China-related APT group known as GREF.

The dates for Karnataka’s flagship event, Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) have been announced. Karnataka IT Minister Priyank Kharge said that this year’s Bengaluru Tech Summit will be organized between November 29 and December 1. Whereas for the year 2024 and 2025 versions, this date has been fixed between 19 to 21 November.
