Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon arrived last August and did it as only FromSoftware knows how to do it, which is making things as difficult as possible. Gigantic enemies, almost unfathomable to the eye, who must be studied carefully to know their routines and kill them. But this time, even the Japanese agree that they have gone a bit too far.
The success of Elden Ring There is no doubt that it has had a domino effect about Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon since many last-minute FromSoftware fans bought it thinking that it would be even a similar game. But no, although difficulty is a common denominator, they have nothing to do with each other and the fact that the two bear the signature of the Tokyo-based studio does not mean that they are first cousins. Hence the disappointment of some.
A patch-shaped respite
The fact is that when the game has been with us for almost a month, FromSoftware have released a new patch which comes to acknowledge us, implicitly, that the studio is aware that it has made things too complicated for us at certain times. That you have enjoyed applying your success formula so much that the time has come to take your foot off the accelerator.
The result of patch 1.02 Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon It doesn’t do anything other than correct bugs and problems detected in the game, which nerf to some enemies, who have had a good part of their difficulty removed. Let’s see, they will continue to be an insurmountable obstacle for many gamers handicapped – as is my case – but at least it will leave us an opportunity to emerge victorious if luck allies itself with us.
ARMORED CORE update 1.02 is now available.

Those enemies who have nerfed Don’t think there are many either. It has not been a reduction of stats general, but rather an update that helps the player find a way to eliminate them. This is the case of Sea Spider and IB-01: CEL 240, which were too intense from the beginning of the fighting and barely gave the opportunity to find the pattern of their attacks.
Criticism for not being like Elden Ring
Although that nerf has been limited to those two enemies, the game has been protagonist by the anger directed against it by those who, guided by the success of Elden Ring (and how well it worked even on PC), they reached Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon thinking that they would find something even similar. Seeing that the knights with swords were replaced by robots and a futuristic setting without the appearance of a medieval world, must have upset those who did not know the existence of this franchise, so they could not conceive any other response than the typical one of these times: bitter complaints in social networks and negative votes just because in stores like Steam.
What’s more, surely The first to be surprised by this success was FromSoftwarewhich has been releasing games since 1997 Armored Corand without leaving their niche of unredeemed fans, who risk everything, which is why this conversion into a phenomenon mainstream after 15 deliveries it is still something miraculous. Although some feel scammed by an IP that is about to celebrate 30 years with us (XD).
