AMD has a lot of work ahead of it if it wants to beat NVIDIA, its rival in the graphics card market. If your war with Intel it has paid off positively after five years of good processors Ryzen in the American company they have wanted to innovate with the drivers of their GPUs.
Last week NVIDIA presented its new generation of graphics cards, the RTX 4000. These new GPUs are going to perform between 2 and 4 times more than their predecessors, which makes it very difficult for AMD to be able to fight back with their expected RX 7000. Luckily not They arrive empty handed.
Graphics cards have so many features and capabilities that even the most demanding gamers sometimes struggle to find the right settings to achieve the desired performance. Quite the opposite of the processors (Ryzen does not have to be touched for it to work well).
Yuri Bubliy, an AMD user, states that your Radeon Monster Profile (RMP)a third party utility you are creating, will increase the performance of AMD RDNA2 GPUs by modifications of the voltage/frequency curve.
An RX 6800 XT at the level of the best NVIDIA graphics card
The creator even claims that the app can boost a Radeon RX 6800 XT up to the level of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, but on a specific synthetic benchmark that doesn’t tell us much about the big picture. We will have to see how they outperform the Intel Arc.
According to the tests carried out by the developer, profile increases the performance of the Radeon RX 6800 XT in 3DMark: Time Spy tests by 13% over the originalwhich puts it at the level of the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti.
Fall plans. You already heard about my new calculator for DDR5 (demo soon), today it’s time to tell you about the presets for RDNA2 video cards which could surprise you. 🔴 RX 6800XT > 🟢 RTX 3090TI this is reality.🔥RADEON MONSTER PROFILE (RMP) More in the slides…😎 pic.twitter.com/WnVUJOdmuR

Bubliy claims that the Radeon Monster Profile combines unique tweaks and a new volt frequency curve for the Radeon RX 6000 series graphics chips.
According to the developer, the result is that RMP increases the GPU frequency by 300 MHz without affecting the factory settings for thermal throttling and fans. Of course, 300 MHz overclocking requires a quality cooling system.
We would all like to increase the performance of our team through software, but you have to keep expectations in check, especially when claims are made based on a single reference point such as a single benchmark. AMD has a way to beat NVIDIA.
