Tech News Desk- Netflix is constantly introducing new features. The company wants to give better experience to the users. The company is now going to add two thumbs up buttons to the already existing thumbs up and thumbs down buttons. That is, subscribers will now be able to tell Netflix whether they like the movie or show they want to watch (eg, dislike, love). This new two thumbs up button will signal to Netflix that the user not only liked the content but also liked it a lot. The company will then use Netflix’s suggestions to improve them. The new rating indicator will be available on the Netflix platform for TV, Android and iPhone with thumbs up and thumbs down buttons, as well as on the web at netflix.com starting today.
Subscribers asked Netflix to provide more options for rating content. The Two Thums Up option, according to Netflix, is “a way to fine-tune your recommendations.” You can still use a thumbnail to highlight the content you like. However, if you opt for the two thumbs up option instead, Netflix will overestimate that suggestion. Christine Doug-Cardet, Director of Product Innovation at Netflix, says, “Our current thumbs up and thumbs down buttons are a way for you to let us know. Great way to find out what you think of a series or movie and how you like it. Have a profile It is personalized as per your test. However, we have learned over time and learned what your likes and dislikes are Likes and dislikes can be different.
