Google just updated bardits conversational artificial intelligence that competes with ChatGPT, globally implementing functions that until now were only available in English and other important new features.
In addition to improving the underlying model PaLM 2 to offer higher quality responses, creative or combining several languages, Integration with other Google services comes to Bard such as Docs, Gmail, Drive, Maps, YouTube or Google’s hotel and flight search engines.
More features for everyone
When you use Bard in Spanish, you will have access to several features that until now were exclusive to conversations in English. It is the case of upload images with Google Lens or incorporate images from the Google search engine into the answers or modify Bard’s answers.

Integrated into Gmail, Docs, YouTube and more
The most important novelty of Bard is without a doubt the connection with other Google services such as Gmail, Drive, Docs, Maps, YouTube or Google’s flight and hotel search engines. The release is initially in English.
Bard has access to our data on all other services, so we can ask you to summarize a document that we have saved in Drive or tell us how many emails we have received today or tell us which video we have watched the most times on YouTube, among many other possibilities.

Finally, Google has improved the “Search Google” button that appears in answers to make it easier check the responses we have received. When you press this button, Bard reads the answer and searches Google for content that corroborates it.
Furthermore, it is now possible continue a conversation that someone else has shared through a public link, adding new questions on the same topic.
