This speed limit function of Google Maps sends alerts to the users about the speed limit of the road they are walking on. If the user goes above the set limit, then Google Maps gives an alert. After turning on this feature, the user can see the speed of his vehicle on the bottom edge of the Google Maps app, on which he is walking. If the vehicle crosses the speed limit of the road, the app starts sending alerts to the user.

However, Google Maps advises that the speedometer in the app is only for information and users should not rely only on it, but should also keep checking the speedometer of their vehicle. How to activate speed limit in Google Maps
First open Google Maps.
Tap on the profile picture at the top right corner.
Now go to ‘Settings’.

Keep scrolling down until you see the ‘Speed ​​Limits’ option.
Now tap on the toggle button in front of this option and turn it on.

After this, if the user is driving at a speed higher than the prescribed speed on any road, then he will get information about it from Google Maps.
