The Pixel 8 Pro inherits the design of the Pixel 7 Pro
The alt text for the image says it’s “person taking a call on a Pixel 8 Pro Porcelain phone, the name of the white color of the smartphone. On his wrist, we also notice that he is wearing a watch, and this is most likely the Pixel Watch 2. Indeed, owners of the first iteration have commented that it looks much thinner, which matches information shared in previous reports.
As we already knew, the Pixel 8 Pro will inherit the design of the previous Pixel 7 Pro, but can still pick up some small changes. At the rear photo module, the three sensors will now be housed in the same “pill”, without being separated in different punches. Moreover, these sensors will no longer be the same. Google plans to use a Samsung GN2 main sensor 50 MPa captor 64 MP IMX787 ultra-wide angle and a 48 MP GM5 periscope offering 5X optical zoom.
There is also a brand new sensor under the flash. It would be a temperature sensor, which could well replace your thermometer. This will come in handy for determining the temperature of certain surfaces, or simply measure your body temperature when you have a fever.
