GPT-4 is capable of creating a working app in just a few minutes!
This week Open AI presented GPT-4, the evolution of the autoregressive language model that gives life to the famous ChatGPT, which many of us already know. As is logical, this one surpasses its predecessor, which has demonstrated its potential to spare, by responding to almost any request, including the creation of codes in different programming languages. But if this already seemed too much, GPT-4 has shown that it is capable of creating specific apps for different platforms such as iOS.
The developers already describe GPT-4 as a “major leap in the field of natural language processing” thanks to your ability to better understand and generate more human-like text, and solve more difficult problems with greater precision. And the first challenges to prove it have already begun.
Think of an app and GPT-4 write the code
the developer Morten Just demonstrated how he used GPT-4 to create an iPhone app that recommends five new movies to the user every day. All you have to do is request the corresponding request or prompt.
In your case, you just asked the AI to use the Apple’s SwiftUI language and explained that the application must show progress and transmission. platforms where each movie is available to watch.
hey gpt4, make me an iPhone app that recommends 5 new movies every day + trailers + where to watch.

Thanks to the updated version of ChatGPT with GPT-4 and available through a paid subscription, the result was code for an iPhone app, called WatchMate, that does exactly what the developer asked for.
Just shared a video of the process that allowed him to obtain a fully functional app and that shows a list of five different movies with the description and trailer of each one. The developer said that The first build had some bugs, but GPT-4 fixed them “and apologized” afterwards.
This example is one more that serves to demonstrate the potential of artificial intelligence and how the irruption of ChatGPT has driven a radical change for technology companieswhich have already been forced to advance their plans in this direction, either by completing integrations with the service, such as those of Bing and Snapchat, or by seeking their own path.
A few weeks ago Google presented Bard, its own chatbot to compete with ChatGPT and shortly after it was confirmed that Apple is also developing its own artificial intelligence tools. And it is that staying behind is not an option.
