The weekly letter from Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman has just been published. Nothing exceptional to start this month of October except for the confirmation (once again) that Apple will no longer organize Keynote before 2023.
The Gurman Revelations
Like every Sunday, it’s time to find the journalist’s crisp information Mark Gurman from Bloomberg. On this Sunday, October 2, nothing really new except the confirmation of previous assertions.
To start, Gurman reaffirms that it is unlikely that Apple will hold a new Keynote by the end of the year. However, new products such as iPad Pro M2 or MacBook Pro 14 and 16 inches with M2 chips could also be presented by press release.
It is also about a Mac mini M2 and an Apple TV 4K equipped with an A14 chip and more RAM. Note that we are here on the assumption and that nothing is yet recorded with certainty.
Finally, the journalist / analyst explained that Apple had tried Touch ID under the screen in the past, but that the chances of seeing this technology appear on a future product of the brand were almost nil. So don’t expect a Touch ID under the OLED panel of the iPhone 15.
He thinks that the iPhone SE could in the future insert the Touch ID button on the side, but nothing concrete on the subject, it is only a guess. Finally, he mentions a new sleep tracking feature via the HomePod but again, not sure if this will be deployed in the future.
